Privacy notice

Privacy at Music Troubleshooter.

We handle your contact details, music and plans with care and use only what is needed for your payment, booking and session. This notice also applies when you share information about other people with us.

Who is responsible

Music Troubleshooter is part of PSG Music Publishing and powered by Network Deal Hub. For this service, Music Troubleshooter determines why and how personal data is used and acts as the data controller.

Privacy questions or requests can be sent to info@networkdealhub.com.

Data we use

  • your name, email address and other contact details you provide;
  • booking details and payment status;
  • your intake question, music links, plans and files you share;
  • appointments, correspondence and concise notes for the session;
  • limited technical data needed for hosting, security and the proper operation of the website.

We do not receive your full payment-card details. These are processed within Stripe's secure payment environment.

Why we use data

We use data to process your payment and booking, prepare and deliver the session, answer questions, maintain our records, and prevent misuse or security issues.

The legal basis is usually performance of the agreement or steps you request before entering into it. A legal obligation applies to tax records. We may rely on a legitimate interest for limited security measures and dispute handling. For a new purpose, such as a recording or marketing message, we ask for separate consent where required.

No hidden follow-on use

A Troubleshooter session does not automatically give us the right to publish, pitch, share or use your music for AI training. A separate, clear agreement is always required.

Information and material about other people

Music and plans may contain information about co-writers, artists, producers, managers, rights holders or other people involved. Share such information only when it is necessary for your question and you are legally entitled to share it with us. Inform those involved where required.

  • share as little personal data about others as possible;
  • do not share identity documents, national identification numbers, medical information, payment details or other sensitive data unless this is expressly necessary and agreed in advance;
  • check that you have consent or another valid basis for sharing recordings, photographs, voices, lyrics and contact details;
  • use a restricted link where possible and limit access to what is needed for the session.

Even when data does not come directly from the person concerned, we assess whether processing is necessary. Where the GDPR requires it, we provide appropriate information to that person or delete the data. Data or material is not forwarded to publishers, labels, professionals or other parties without a separate instruction and appropriate consent or another legal basis.

External service providers

We use external services for payment, scheduling and video calls. They process data according to their own role and privacy terms:

  • Stripe for payment;
  • Calendly for choosing and confirming a time;
  • Google Meet for the video call;
  • email and hosting providers for communication and technical services.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate transfer safeguards must apply. Consult their privacy notices for current locations, roles and safeguards.

The website places no marketing or analytics cookies. For the public counter, we record only an aggregated page view. The counter does not store an IP address, device ID or other personal data. When you continue to Stripe or Calendly, their own cookie and privacy choices apply.

Retention and security

We keep intake data, session notes, music links and received files no longer than needed for the session, agreed follow-up, security or a possible dispute. We then delete or anonymise them, unless a separate collaboration or legal duty requires a longer retention period.

Data forming part of our tax records must generally be kept for 7 years. External service providers also apply their own retention periods.

We limit access to people who need the data for the service and take appropriate technical and organisational security measures. However, no online transmission or storage can be made entirely risk-free.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the situation, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw consent for the future at any time. Send your request to info@networkdealhub.com. We may request additional information to verify your identity.

If you are dissatisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
